Privacy Policy
Prompt Upgrades ("we", "us") sells downloadable AI prompt packs. This page explains what information we collect when you visit promptupgrades.co.uk or buy from us, and what we do with it. We've kept it in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
Prompt Upgrades is run by Jordan Telfer, trading as Prompt Upgrades, based in England. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email hello@promptupgrades.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
- When you buy something. Your purchase is processed by Gumroad, which collects your email address and payment details. We never see your card details. Gumroad shares your email and order details with us so we can deliver your files and help you if something goes wrong. Gumroad's own privacy policy applies to how it handles your payment.
- When you visit the site. Our hosting provider (Netlify) records basic technical logs such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is standard for any website and is used to keep the site running and secure.
- Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
- Advertising. We may use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to understand which of our adverts lead to visits and purchases. This uses cookies and may share information about your visit with Meta. You can control this through your browser settings or Meta's ad preferences.
- When you email us. We keep your message so we can reply and refer back to it.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information to anyone.
- We don't send marketing emails unless you've chosen to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- We don't collect more than we need to sell you a product and support you afterwards.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies of its own. Third-party services we use (Gumroad at checkout, and the Meta Pixel if it's running) may set cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
How long we keep information
We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes, which in the UK is normally six years. Support emails are kept for as long as they're useful, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to object to certain uses of it. To do any of these, email hello@promptupgrades.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
